Welcome to Hou Tian, an Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra roleplay forum. It's been eight years since Sozin's comet, and two years since Kuvira's defeat respectively, and the three remaining nations, as well as the airbenders and nonbenders, are settling into an uneasy peace. As with any truce however, there are those that seek to break it apart, and plunge humanity back into war. In the past, strange rifts are appearing as attacks on highly populated areas continue, a strange new enemy disappearing just as quickly as they appear, leaving destruction in their wake. A group was abducted into the Spirit World where they were tested before getting information on the culprit and the dangers, as the veil between the human and spirit world grows thinner with each attack.In the present, Republic City and surrounding areas are still recovering from their own damage. Overnight, a series of attacks on the city, surrounding Earth Kingdom, and even ships returning from the Fire Nation took place. Many people were injured or worse, and the citizens are still working to repair damages from the sudden occurrence. With reports from all over signifying benders being targeted, and some people still missing from the night of the attack, there's no telling what will happen next.Your Choice: Work to bring the world to peace, to chaos, or just to survive another day.
